The church that meets at Rivanna River looks forward to hosting Camp COMMIT! (Christian Mothers & Maidens Inspired by Titus!), an all girl camp (ages 12-19), year after year!!  We were blessed beyond measure by the ladies, both young and young at heart, who brought Camp COMMIT! to life this year!

It is our intention to host the camp the last full week of June each year ... specific dates are forthcoming. 

We fully expect 30-35 campers next year (yes, we are already thinking about next year!).  Because we do not want finances to hinder their opportunity to participate, Camp COMMIT! is free to every camper.  Our hope and prayer is to provide a memorable and rewarding experience for all involved.  As we pull our thoughts together and begin to prepare for Camp COMMIT! 2009, we ask for the prayers of the saints on behalf of the girls who shall attend, the staff who are certain to dedicate thousands of unselfish hours to its preparation and success, and the message that may be received in each girl’s heart. 

We ask also, if it is not too much trouble, for you to mention Camp COMMIT! from time to time while the saints are gathered and encourage your teenaged girls to apply.  We’d love for them to join us! 

Everything you need to know about Camp COMMIT! and the church that meets at Rivanna River can be found on our websites.  With gracious hearts, we will glady accept donations and love offerings.  We have need for office supplies, art and craft supplies, sewing supplies, scrap-booking supplies, paper products (i.e., tissues, toilet paper, and paper towels), non-perishable foods, small home decorating items, decorative pillows, curtains, candles, postage stamps, and the like; one of our camp planners will be very happy to contact you to coordinate any support your body of Saints can offer.  As you may guess, our list of needs seems endless!
